After twenty years of un-wedded bliss Georges and Albin, two men partnered for better-or-worse, get a bit of both when Georges’ son (fathered during a one-night fling) announces his impending marriage to the daughter of a bigoted, right-wing politician. Further complicating the situation is the ‘family business’: Albin and Georges run a drag nightclub in St. Tropez, where Albin is the star performer Zaza. Georges reluctantly agrees to masquerade as “normal” when he meets the family of the bride-to-be. But Albin has other plans, with hilarious results.

NOVEMBER 2nd & 3rd

Traditional and contemporary Día de los Muertos altars will be set up throughout
the Old Town community during this event for visitors to enjoy. In various museums in the park, there will also be altars commemorating the people who lived and worked in Old Town during the 1800s. Activities will include face painting, public memorials, children’s arts and crafts, piñatas, Aztec and folkórico dancing, life-sized catrinas and skeleton displays, giant skeleton puppets, live music, and a catrina y catrín costume contest.

BATTLE OF SAN PASQUAL

December 7th (11:00 am – 3:30 pm). Annual event at San Pasqual Battlefield State Historic Park. The event includes a variety of demonstrations and entertainment commemorating
the U.S.-Mexican War.

LOS POSADAS
Fiesta de Reyes invites you to enjoy
the holiday spirit with festive decorations throughout the park, entertainment, and holiday experiences for the whole family. At 5:00 PM, the traditional Las Posadas procession will begin. Based on the story of Mary and Joseph’s search for shelter in Bethlehem, this event has been part of Old Town San Diego’s celebration of Christmas for 69 years. The day’s festivities will wrap up with a campfire and s’mores in the Plaza.
