Face Painting

Face painting is a tradition there will several places to have your face painted by a local artist. Come and become a part of this amazing event.
• CATRINA CONTEST - Random attendees will be selected and  judged by the clapping and noisy audience

Dance

Grupo Folklorico Herencia Mexicana 's amazing traditional dancers will be performing in the morning both days with possible performances through out the day.

Music

The Day of the Dead festival is always a great place to party, especially in the Gaslamp! check out the schedule below. Great music and dance performances, by local and by the international Grupo Marca Registrada.

Lowrider Altars

• In keeping with the tradition of the Dia de los Muertos holiday, Day of the Dead, there will be over 20 Classic and Lowrider cars on display and displaying amazing altars honoring those that have passed.

The Dia de los Muertos event has been a San Diego, tradition for 14 years. It all started in Old Town and we are proud to share this cultural event with our San Diego community at the Historic Gaslamp area in Downtown!
